What to expect during your Akashic Records Reading:

 
The Reading begins with a Sacred Prayer that allows me to access your personal Akashic Records. The prayer is read aloud once and then I am silent for about one to two minutes, giving me the opportunity to fully connect with your Masters, Teachers and Loved Ones in spirit form. This is a good time for you to align with your intentions for the reading.

Once accessed, a number of different things may occur. Sometimes information is immediately forthcoming and at other times the Masters indicate questioning may begin. During the reading, know that I am present and available for guidance should you need it.

It is important here to explain what an Akashic reading is not to avoid misunderstandings - it is not a psychic reading or a mind reading.  I am not able to read your thoughts or know exactly what you want. Instead, expect the reading to be more conversational.  Additionally, a reading is not diagnostic in nature but instead brings forth a higher realm of knowledge and insight for clearer personal discernment and guidance surrounding personal matters.

The responses you receive will be a direct vibrational match to the questions you ask.  Thus, you are encouraged to be precise, thoughtful and open in your request for guidance so you are sure to receive responses that are a high vibrational match.  In other words, your willingness to be open and clear determines to a large extent what happens during the session and the guidance Spirit brings forth.

The information brought forth comes from the unconditionally loving and compassionate guidance of your Masters and Teachers.  Their intention is to provide guidance that moves you toward your highest potential, growth and expression.The vibrational energy conveyed through the messages support and encourage shifts in consciousness that lead to greater understanding and clarity of direction for a more hopeful, healthier and happier life.   The healing energy that is forthcoming uplifts, inspires and empowers. The more open you are to receive these messages the more profound the experience.

Sessions can be conducted in person or via the telephone or videoconference. In either case, the transmitting and receiving of energy is equivalent.

Preparation for Your Akashic Records Reading:

To get the most out of your session, consider preparing a couple days ahead of time, strengthening your alignment with your intentions for your reading.  Here are a few steps that will help you get the absolute most out of the time you spend with your Masters, Teachers and Loved Ones.

Create and write down 3 - 5 specific questions related to the subject(s) most important to you at this time.   As the experience can be like the world-wide-web, you are encouraged to ask any questions that come to mind during the reading.  And know that no question is off limits.  See The Art of Questions for guidance on creating your questions.

• Prioritize your questions.  In case all your questions don’t get answered, you want to make sure you ask the most important ones first.
• Bring something to record any information you receive, such as notebook and pen.  Even though I will digitally record and email an MP3, at times the recording is not 100% reliable and the notes will serve you well.
• Do allow a full hour (no more than 1.5 hours) for your consultation.  This is a sacred time and you want to it give ample space.  Also, prior to the reading open your heart to receive and immediately after give yourself time to absorb the messages.
• Do find a quiet setting for the reading if done via the telephone/internet.  Driving a car or being in a busy location is not conducive and our connection may be compromised.
• Don’t do any recreational drugs or alcohol for 24 hours before your consultation.  Prescription drugs are acceptable.

This time is sacred and I truly look forward to working with you and being in service to you and your higher purpose.

The Art of Questions

 “It is not the answers that show us the way, but the questions.

Just the exercise of creating questions can be awakening.  This discovery process immediately starts to move energy inside you.  By formulating the questions, you will begin the process of peeling away the layers that cover up your hearts desires.  There are many ‘types’ of questions to ask.  It is always the ‘intent’ behind the question that reveals the vibration of the question itself. When creating your questions, think back from the end.  What is it you’re looking to know, have guidance and direction with or need clarity around? 

You want to know as much information as you can to help you shift, transform or create new experiences and outcomes.  In order to do this, ask questions that provide expansive answers.  You want to allow the conversation to broaden, deepen and open up to all possibilities and insights.  Otherwise, asking “Yes/No” questions tend to limit and truncate the deeper understanding of a situation.

The quality of the reading is in direct proportion to the integrity of the questions and the intention behind them.  As your reader, know that I am always with you to assist the phrasing of questions and the deepening of your reading.  It is not necessary to have your question perfect but better to have as clear an understanding about the guidance you are seeking.  Know, there may be times the Masters & Teachers do not directly answer questions if they determine this will interfere with your free will.  After your reading, it is important for you to review the session in the context of your life and take responsibility for the choices you make as a result.

Guidelines for Creating Your Questions

It is best to create questions that will bring forth the most expansive information possible.  Enjoy the journey.

Ask questions that:

• Seek deeper information, clarity, insight and understanding
• Seek guidance in relation to your best course of action
• Are open-ended questions
• Have a journalistic approach

Areas you may want to consider:

• Spiritual growth or path
• Interaction with friends and family
• Repeating patterns and behaviors
• Recurring dreams
• Influences from past lives (as they pertain to here & now)
• Influences from outside sources
• Soul purpose; its alignment with one’s personality
• Creative expression

Types of Questions:

What Questions: 

• These are the most expansive questions and will generate much insight
• Ex.  What do I need to know in order to feel more peace in my life?

How Questions: 

• These are also expansive and allow for guidance and direction to come forth openly
• Ex.  How can I create more repeat business?

Where Questions:

• Know that space does not exist in the ethereal realm and therefore solid answers cannot be guaranteed as they may change due to external influences.  Try phrasing your question this way:
• Ex. What do the Masters and Teachers have to share with me on moving to Cleveland?
• Ex. What do the Maters and Teachers have to tell me about moving to California?

When Questions: 

• Time does not exist in the Spirit realm and therefore answers may shift and change based on external factors not considered when a question is asked.  Try phrasing your question this way:
• Ex. What do I need to change in myself (my life) to allow  ______ to happen?
• Ex. What must take place before that (happening) occurs?”

Why Questions:

• These questions come from one’s personality and often seek someone or something to blame and tend to contract instead of expands the answers. 

Should or Would Questions:  

• Try not to use questions using the word ‘should’ or ‘would’. 
• Try to identify what the real reason is behind your question and ask about that.

Yes/No and Either/Or Questions: 

• Avoid these questions as they do not provide you the ability to expand the subject matter and discuss the potential around the issue.
