When we are caught up in the rush of life, we miss even the not-so-subtle nuances. Problems seem insurmountable, taking all that we have to climb above them and hopefully come out the other side the winner and not too rough for the wear.
CAN YOU RELATE?
I just finished chatting with another realtor client Cher. We discuss properties that are difficult to sell in order to find the secret passageway to the “other side”.
Guiding messages range from changing furnishings to wall colors, adding certain items, adjusting the owner’s energy or shifting the vibration of the space itself.
While Cher’s main focus was property #1, understandably her most important, I could feel there were others we needed to explore. And good thing.
A PREVALENT PATTERN EMERGED
THE VICIOUS CYCLE
Cher clearly wanted to sell these homes – that’s how she keeps clients happy and gets paid.
Because her attention was on the issues at hand, she wasn’t aware of the bigger picture at play:
- All three properties had the exact same dynamics!
- A male and female ownership (husband-wife and brother-sister)
- All the females were hesitant to sell
- All the males were ready to sell
- The properties needed to be congruent in order to actually sell
- (Of course, all the reasons were different)
As soon as we got to the 3rd property, it was clear as day, Cher was incongruent within herself and it was playing out on the screen of her life – with her clients!
WHAT TO DO?
We all have masculine and feminine sides to us. When they are pulling us in opposite directions it creates stagnation, disharmony and struggles (internally and externally).
Cher must heal the feminine part of herself that is in resistance to her masculine part that wants to move forward. None of her client situations had escalated into drama (yet), indicating now is the time to course correct and harmonize her inner being.
Clearly her external reality is trying to get her attention but she wasn’t paying attending and hadn’t noticed.
Because the outer reflects the inner, once Cher brings into balance her inner being, her clients will have a meeting of heart and mind, a clear path forward will open and the homes will sell.
Just like in the movie Groundhog Day, Bill Murray stopped trying to “fix” out there to make his life better and recognized that by shifting what was going on “in here” he was then able to navigate his life with much more grace, ease and joy.
Are you ready to pay attention to the repetition showing up your life? It’s tapping you on the shoulder trying to tell you something really important.
