IS BAZI THE SAME AS THE CHINESE ZODIAC?

Not exactly. Chinese animal-sign astrology primarily works with your birth-year animal. BaZi, or Four Pillars of Destiny, uses your year, month, day and hour of birth to create eight characters that reveal a much more detailed picture of your individual energetic design.

Your animal year sign is actually just one of those eight characters.

WHAT IF I DON'T KNOW MY EXACT BIRTH TIME?

Your birth time completes the fourth pillar of your BaZi chart and provides additional information, but a reading can still be conducted and offer valuable insights without it. We can work with what you have. If you have access to hospital records or family memory, that's worth investigating before your session.

HOW IS BAZI DIFFERENT FROM WESTERN ASTROLOGY?

Western astrology maps planetary positions at the time of your birth. BaZi maps the energetic quality of time itself through the interaction of Yin and Yang, the Five Elements and their cycles.

Both offer insight into who you are and the timing of your life, but they use very different systems to get there.
